I added a rain sensor to my sprinkler system. This is the wireless "Rain-Clik" rain sensor by Hunter with Quick Response technology which allows the sensor to detect rain quickly and shut the sprinkler system down almost instantly unlike competitive units which must wait for rain water to fill or soak up the unit before the switch is flipped. www.hunterindustries.com Being a wireless unit helps with the install as no wires were needed between the controller and the sensor itself; just mount the receiver near the sprinkler timer, connect wires for power and control, and place the sensor/transmitter unit anywhere within 300 feet of the receiver where it will receive rainfall. Just after mounting the sensor, it started to rain on me.
